It's only avaialable in Canada,(Toronto,Vancouver) and goes for more than the LiteOn. But appears to have more features. It's about 160.00 U.S. But it is brand new. Price should drop, soon. There's no website available. But interested parties should contact the following ph numbers,(905) 944-8863, (905) 944-8860

Sorry I missed this Kzod. Info on the Vsonic brand is quite limited, even on the net. and NA sales are currently confined to Canada, because of a legal issue regarding royalties on one of the codecs. The best advice I can offer is call one of the numbers and request a website or some literature to be sent to you.

I was about to buy one in China Town (Toronto) for $250 CAN, but after I called the Phone# that Robert Black provided in this forum I just going to pay $199 CAN (Tax Inc) at Pacific Mall (Toronto). Thanks Robert.

And thank you Americano, for the links. I thought this would be a dead thread. But I'm glad someone ID'ed this model as a BBK. I have a Vsonic 9200mx and can personally vouch for it's quality and reliability. I've had it for over a year now. No problems. But I believe that's one of they're older inhouse models. If Vsonic is now sourcing out, and attaching it's brand to whatever generic manufacturer(in this case BBK) this L103 model could be less worthy. Then again, they're are not too many Divx players on the market in North America, to choose from.

Americano please keep us informed on the player's features and faults if you decide to get it. Oh, and DON'T forget to have them flash the player with firmware hack to remove macrovision copyprotection. They do it at Pacific mall. But you have to request it.

  8. Hello

I am a new owner of this product but i dont have any history with this. I have 3 questions i would like to ask you.

    1) I was wondering how i can connect the subtitles in this player with avi files?

    2) Some movies that work properly on my pc dont work properly on the player. ex. sometimes there is no sound or the picture is disorted. Is there anything i can do to fix this. I thought that maybe i could use but i am not sure what should i do?

    3) Also i asked the store merchant about the firmware hack to remove the macrovision copyprotection. But they said they didnt do anything like that. Is there anyway i can do this myself??

    thx
