    Since i reinstalled my computer a while ago i have had some problem with my DVD, ive installed XP and had XP before.

    If i put a cd or dvd in it, it start to read but my system hangs for a while and explorer goes to "Not responding". I have tried to update firmware and stuff like that but it doesnt work.

    If i use a boot disk or boot direct from a cd it works perfect so i dont think its defect. Mabye there is some driver conflicts or something?

    I have tried to install and reinstall some dvd related software like WinDVD and Nero.

    Anyone have any idea?
