I uninstalled the Nimo Codec pack because I was having a hard time with a lot of my XviD files. After much hassle, I was able to get my avi, divx and xvid files to work but now my mpg files won't work! Everytime I click on an mpg file my PC wants to install Easy CD & DVD Creator 6?!?!?
Any advice? Please help a poor man down on his luck.![]()
Curse you Nimo!![]()

hrmmm,
try this,
Click on start, control panel, Folder options, then click on the file types tab. scroll down the extensions list until you see MPG, then associate that file with Windows Media Player -
If codecs problem on XP try this:
Click Start - Control Panel - Sound and sounddevices - hardware - scroll down to Videocodec - click properties - properties again (flag), and you will find a list of all codecs installed on your computer.
Now you can remove those that gives you any problem......000....000....
