HELP PLEASE..i need to split dvd but use menus on both discs

i am sure this has already been asked but i couldn't find out anything when i search.

i have a dvd with 9 episodes (like 3 1/2 hours) of anime on it. DVD shrink will not let me compress it enough to fit on one disc and when i compress and then recompressed to make it fit the quality is horrible. i want to reauthor it and just put 6 episodes on a disc but i want to use the menus so i can have chapters for each episode.

so basically i want to use the first menu and then the next six on one disc and then on the second disc i want to use the first menu but then the last three chapter menus.

i have no idea how to do this. someone please help me. thanks everybody.

I use CloneDVD to do this. Just select the the titles you want on the DVD and check "Preserve menus" on the top-right corner.
