Ok, I am using dvdshrink30beta5 to backup my dvd's, and nero 6 to burn with. The question I have is that I used to use dvdxcopy to backup my dvd's and could play them in either my puter, PS2, or my GE standalone, and thats using dvd+r or dvd+rw's. Now I cant seem to get the disks to play on my puter with the dvdshrink method (using powerdvd). But they will play in WMP 9, (and ps2 and standalone) Any ideas why the powerdvd wont play these disks now that I am using a different method? Any thought on this would be greatly appreciated!

oh...I forgot to mention the error I get in powerdvd is that I need to clean the disk, but the disks are perfect....not one scratch or smudge (I get real pissy about my disks)
If at first you don't succeed; call it version 1.0

I have found that quite a few DVDs I have backed up using DVDShrink will not play in PowerDVD - The error says something like "disc may be damaged, or need cleaning". It is only in PowerDVD that this happens - the same disc in a set top player works beautifully. I have not found a way to overcome this and just accept it as a limitation of burnt DVDs.
    If in doubt, Google it.

I can only suggest using software other than Shrink to see if it continues to happen.
    If in doubt, Google it.
