    i have some avi files that i cannot get to work no matter how many codecs i have i keep getting a 'tcss' error

    which is the best codec pack that i should be using?

    Codec packs are not recommended as conflicts can occur when too many codecs try and open the same file. It's best to test your file with Gspot and then install only the codecs that you require.
