  1. Hey there,

I have convert a DVD to MPG (vcd), and the file is about 1500 MB. I want to split it in 2 files of 750 MB.

I tried CM's Digital Video Tool, and when finished i'm having 2 files of 750MB. Perfect isn't it ??

Well, i'm using Nero to make a VCD. I drag&dropped the first splitted file in Nero and click on "Burning". After 10 minutes i have a great VCD, and it plays very good on my stand-alone DVD-player.

But when i want to burn the second file with Nero, it says that it's not a (S)VCD. Stream isn't good, etc etc.
And playing with Windows Media Player is going good with the first splitted file, but the second won't play.

What is going wrong ?? Or someone got an answer for this ?
Why is my first file perfect, and the second not ?

Use Womble Mpeg II VCR and 'split' on a keyframe.
Open the mpeg. Set the first offset to 0 and second to abot middle of file preferably on a scene changing keyframe. Then 'record' that segment to a new file.
