  1. Could anyone plz tell me how to set the background media in DVD Architect, i see the option and when I select the mp3 file i want to be playing in the background of the main menu it tells me the following..
"The plug-in needed to read the file "file name" is not registered.
You can click on the register button to register a plug-in that will read this file."

does anyone know what to do here...or does anyone know what kinda of files it supports as background media..thank you in advance...

If you mean background music to your menus, you need to convert your sound file to AC-3. By doing so, you will have a compliant file and it should work (works for me anyway). Use Besweet to convert, check the tools section. I'm pretty sure the reason for the error is MP3 is not supported by DVDA.

Also, you'll save yourself some time by prepping your movie files the same way. De-mux the movie. Re-mux the movie with no sound. Convert the movie sound to AC-3. Then put it into DVDA...no long re-encode times. Hope this helps.
