AC3 Audio file problem

to convert my Divx movie to DVD with AC3 sound.
i created with VirtualDubMod AC3 file and fixed him with BeSliced.
when BeSliced finish to fix this file it open me note:

in the guide nothing wrote about it, someone know if its ok?

use Vdub to extract the audio as .wav and re-encode it to AC3 with FFMPEG GUI.

if i dont want to create DVD at AC3 format can i extract the audio to Wav?

yeah just encode the wav with the MPEG2 file into either MPEG2 audio or uncompressed PCM audio. AC3 though is both small in size and compliant with all DVD players. PCM is large and compliant with all players. MPEG2 is small but not compliant with all players. AC3 is the best choice for audio.

after i create the Wav or AC3 file i can`t play them. it`s ok or something with the files wrong?

AC3 requires a codec, like AC3 Filter installed. WAV should play on any PC just fine. what settings are you using to rip the audio in Vdub?

reference that guide. at the beginning it shows you how to set up Vdub to rip the audio to wav.

i`m using to rip to ac3 with VirtualDubMod, I didn`t change any setting, i did every thing like that wrote in the guide.
i installed the ac3 codec but i still can`t play the file. is it says that something wrong with him?

finally i succeeded play the file but the file is 1:50:25 and my movie is 1:50:33, it`s ok or i will have audio-video sync problems?

that I'm not certain on. its unusual for audio and video to be different lengths like that. maybe the audio ends before the video does in the movie. all you can do is try it and see what happens.

i noticed that the file that i create in virtualdubmode is ok, his length like my video file but when i fix it with BeSliced the fixed audio ac3 file is 7 sec less the video file.
when the fixing proccess is done i see a messege (in my first quastion you can see it), mabe it will help to understand the problem.
somebody know what the problem or what cause to it?

You should work from your original DVD, it's the only way you can discuss this and not be in violation of the forum rules. The Italian job is a copyrighted work, and backing up and backup isn't allowed.
