  1. I have an avi that is just the original widescreen version, is there a way to adjust the masking in letterbox so i can see the whole frame instead of a squashed or stretched version?

  2. You can disable letterboxing by turning off the "Letterbox" checkbox, or keep it but change the aspect ratio by varying the output image size.

  3. will that matter for a SVCD? I thought for a valid SVCD you have to use 480x480

  4. Yes, you have to use the SVCD size, but you can use Quicktime player to add a border and then encode to SVCD size.
