    I had a hard disk crash, and had to start from scratch with all my software. I re-downloaded TMPenc from their site, and now they are using version 2.0 instead of beta 12.j..

    I downloaded 28 .avi files and only one of them will even open with TMPENC. I downloaded and installed Divx 4.0 (I think I did it right??? )..

    Seems strange that 27 out of 28 files can't be opened...
    I get the error...can not open or unsupported.. Can anyone advise me what to do?? Much appreciated...

    yes that really really seems like a codec problem

    get the krystal pak from the "tools" section here and install that

    you must have missed one - or maybe they are SMR avi's
