    Method of creating disk (if not store bought)
    media type (brand) etc

  3. The dvd cd-rw model is Toshiba sd-r2102 bundled together with my compaq presario series 700 model. Some one said it could be an overheating problem.. Could it be this what can be done if so??

  4. Some more questions, try to answer them all

    Is this problem on a PC (laptop?) or standalone player.
    Is this problem with DVD's you have burnt yourself or commercial DVD's or both.

    If only with Your own burns, what brand and type of media are you using. Have you tried others?
