  1. For some reason I can't seem to be able to play .dat files in windows media player anymore
I used to be able to do it I beleive
The error I get is "no combination of filters could be found to render the stream"
I have tried with this with multiple vcds that I have downloaded
    Any suggestions?

  2. You have to find the dot product of your filter matrix to adequately combine the set of filters in a good fashion. If the dot product becomes zero, your filter combination is orthogonal. In which case, your unit vector is tangential to your filter plane.

  4. Try to unassociate the dat with opening with whatever prog it is opening with & this may solve one thing or if U R try to play a vcd get powerdvd this works like a dream.. But if U wanna get technical get isobuster & copt the dat to an mpg by extracting it to the HD

  5. Just get vcdgear and change the dat to an mpg. Its fast(takes about 5 minutes for an entire vcd). If you don't want to leave it just delete it afterwards. Its simple and you won't have a problem playing them.
