Hi, problem that I’m facing is strange. I’m trying to convert 1H 06Min 44Sec movie DVD PAL (25fps progressive) to NTSC DVD.
First, I ripped DVD, than I used DVD2AVI so I have 2 files one audio AC3 (with -80 delays) and D2V file.
Second, I used BeSweet to convert AC3 PAL to NTSC Wav (23.9760) I used settings in BeSweet 25>23.976. My new NTSC Wav is 1H 09Min 35Sec.
By using TMPGn I converted D2V PAL to video NTSC (23.976 I usedtemplate from this site). My new M2V NTSC (23.976) video file is 1H 09Min 30Sec.
As you can see 5 seconds deferens, so I used CoolEdit to stretch Audio to the same size 1:09:30 like my M2V video file.
After that I tried everything. I mean everything. I tried to multiplex my M2V file with wav, with that wav converted to MP2 and Ac3. NOTHING HELPS!
After about 20Min sound starts shifting.
Is anybody know what went wrong?
Thanks. For_4

The way i fix that kind of problem is go to the end of the video and count in seconds how much the voice is off from the sound and calculate those seconds to either stretch or shrink the timeline,it may take a few tries but it works and i`ve done it with a few videos, its worth it if you want to fix the video. You`ll have to calcualte exactly what you need to match but its a guessing game if conventional methods dont work.
