    Can anyone help i am running WIN 98 SE and all of a sudden i am trying to use smartripper to rip a dvd but it keeps telling me ASPI IS DISABBLE.
    I have downloaded ASPI CHECKER AND THIS IS SAYING
    APIX.VXD
    WNASPI32.DLL
    This is working properly.
    Also when i open Nero is keeps telling me" could not open driver trying system ASPI"
    Can anybody help me resolve this issue.

    download forceaspi.

    its what i always use when installing aspi.

    it always does the job.

    Also may want to try fix aspi. This edits your registry since the aspi installation program does not always do it correct. This may be the same thing as force aspi.
