Can anybody help me . I have a pioneer 106 which has been working fine over the last 3 months copying on Bulk paq orange at 4x but since i have reinstalled my operating system (XP Pro) I can not get it to burn at 4x i keep getting a power calibration error in nero and recordnowmax. Have cleaned the lens as suggested and have tried other discs but wth the same results it will copy at 2x but not 4x. Please can anybody tell me if i am doing anything wrong or is the the drive just no good.
Thank you

power calibration error in my findings usually isn't a good thing.
but we'll see what /if anyone else has something to say hopefully -
I would re-install the OS again. I recently had probs after a refresh, and found the only way to fix, was another refresh. Hope it works!!!!
