I just popped in my Doors cd and I kept getting the error message saying "can't play CD cannot find playback plugin" (Quintessential Player). And I remembered that earlier in the day my sister wanted to watch a dvd on her computer and she got a similar error message, using Nvidia NVDVD.
Something about a dvd plugin or it might of been the same one I got. It's to much of coincidence that 2 different computers using 2 different programs and 2 different media types get similar playback problems. After she and I restarted our computers the problem seemed to have dissapeared! And both played fine! Is there some type of bug in Windows XP Pro? Any thoughts?
