  1. I have used DVDbackup and Toast 6 to copy a DVD movie that had no extras and fit onto a standard DVD-R disc. I have ripped another movie, but this one is much bigger since it has some extras on the disc. Is it possible for me to go through the VIDEO_TS folder, remove the files for the extras, and just burn the remaining with Toast, or do I need DVD2One to sort through the files and generate a functional disc of the movie only minus the extras?

If this is possible, how can I tell which files to keep and which to discard? I have compared the contents of the smaller DVD movie with the larger one and am guessing that the larger files (four 1Gig plus in sequence) are probably the movie itself.

its possible only if the cumulative movie only .vob's are less than 4.4 gigs
are they? if so ill tell you how I do it.

(see if you can include the .vob thats the menu also in the movie only files)

use VLC to see which .vob's are what by watching them individually
