  1. I have X2-United on dvd, but i found an "uncut" version online... didn't know what it was, or maybe it had something that mine didn't have so i downloaded it. It was about 4gb so i figured it was an image. It ended up being 5 700mb rar fiels and 1 500mb rar file... after unraring each one, the 1st 2 files unrar to be 5 pdi files totalling about 4.2gb. the 3rd rar is 4 pdi files for about 3.1gb, the 4th and 5th are 3 pdi files for about 2.3gb and the last rar file is 2 pdi files for about 1.2gb

i was shocked that a 700mb rar file held 4gb of data... and what's weird is the numbering...the 1st rar had files like this: x2blahblah.pdi/pdi01/pdi02/pdi03/pdi04. the 2nd rar was the same, 5 files numbered the same way. (Keep in mind the only difference between the rars is they all say part1,2,3,4,5,6). the 3rd rar has no .pdi file and starts at .pdi01 and goes to .pdi04, the 4th and 5th start at .pdi02 and go to .pdi04, and the 6th starts at .pdi03 to .pdi04

i know all this is confusing, but i extracted the files from the 2nd rar using pdixtract and i burned the pdi files from the 1st rar using dvd decrypter... it looked like the same thing. the quality was dvd, there were no menus, but there were chapters... i'll probably go through the others to see if they're the same, but i just wanted to know what the hell is going on with this??? What is pdi anyways? I did a search and came up with very little, except it's for use with instant copy (which i don't have). Bottom line, i want to know what the hell all those pdi files are for, and why are there 6 rar files totalling for about 4gb but after unraring everything it seems as though it turns out to be something like 16 gb, i thought maybe it was accounting for a double disc (cause retail dvds can be 9 gb). But i thought that wasn't right becuase why would the 1st/2nd rar have the same data in them (the whole movie, dvd quality, no menus, has chapters)?

Any thoughts? Not a problem really, just an incite, maybe someone has encountered this situation before...
