compress Query:input =YUY2, 16 BiTES. OUTPUT=( null ) ??????

installed xp pro,sp1 & updates, installed Vir. Dub 1.5 and huffyuv,
took me ages to get pic. on the cap. screen and now on a seperate BLACK window from V.Dub full of follwing and like ;

compress Query:input =YUY2, 16 BiTES. OUTPUT=( null )
compress Query:input =0,16 bits, output=(null)
App name is Virt. Dub.exe; flags= 0
compress Query:input =0,24 bits, output = (null )

any ideas what is causing this and the remedy for this prob.????

Hard to tell if it is a Hardware conflict or a Software confilct.

Virtual Dub has 1.5.10 out I believe.

Go over your Display Settings. Perhaps check the devices connected to the sound.??
