    Hi,

I used smartripper to decrypt and bring all the dvd files (7 gigs) to my harddrive. I used dvd2one to bring the size of the dvd 4.5 gigs to burn to dvdr. I got a message that one of the copied files was decrypted and the process had to be aborted. I don't have the original dvd anymore. I looked for a dvd decryter software to decrypt the files on the harddrive, but dvddecrypter and smartripper looks to the dvd drive as the source.

How can I decrypt the vob files again? Is there an alternative software?

    Please advise,

    Thanks,

    Rage

Then legally tou have no right to make a backup, if its a commercial dvd

  4. Like the above posters have stated, without ownership of the original DVD you have no legal right for a backup or copy.
