    any comments on toshiba d r1.I have noticed that has great specifications.Does it play mp3s?

    I am sorry to answer this way... but why would you care about mp3 in DVD Recorder ? I think that it would be very expensive mp3 player. You can buy cheap DVD player for $35 and play on that mp3 24/7 if you wish. Are you planing to wear down expensive Recorder on mp3 ?
