How to put clips with two different resolutions on one DVD?

I want to make a compilation DVD with a couple of clips I 've recorded from TV and and a couple I've converted from an enhanced CD. I always use TMPGENC DVD Author for my work and am using TMPGENC for the re-encoding. TMPGENC won't let me make a compilation from the re-encoded clips at 720 x 480 on the same DVD as a the clips that are 704 x 480. Is there any way that I can put all of this on one DVD? Thanks!

Just click on Add new track (to the left under the Tmpgenc DVD Author Source setup step) for each different video resolutions.

You can't mix video resolutions under one track/vts.

IIRC, the DVD specs allow for different resolutions on one disk but they must be in seperate titlesets. Unfortunatley, the consumer lever DVD authoring packages generally only generate single titlesets.

You could try an authoring package that accepts non-compliant or mixed resolutions. DVD-Lab will probably accept them (with a warning) and allow you to author. As to wether this will play correctly on oyur DVD player, only way to find out is to try it.

I just discovered accidentally that MF2 will work too.

I have MF 1 and it won't let you import two differing resolutions. I had tried to use DVD Patcher but although I could patch and get MF 1 to accept the file, I couldn't "unpatch" after I'd authored them. Does anyone know of a simple way to "unpatch" certain titles in an authored VIDEO_TS folder?

I just finished making a DVD with 8 mpeg2s.
5 were 720 x 480 and 3 were 352 x 480 All were 4:3 DAR
MF2 just did it without complaint. I never even noticed until
I looked at the files and found 2 title sets.

maybe it doesn't like 704
