DVD2ONE WON'T SHRINK TO 700MB!

I have read in this forum, that the latest version of DVD2ONE will shrink a DVD to any amount you specify. I am trying to make MiniDVD's, but I am having a "shrinkage" problem. I can't get my files down to 700MB. I've tried DVD SHRINK, as well, to no avail. Please help...

I did that one time for kicks and I seem to remember I had to use DVD2one two times on the same file to get the movie to fit onto one CDR.

You are completely INSANE to think that a transcoder such as DVD2ONE can be used to SHRINK a DVD down to the size of a CD

Even if it WOULD work ... the image quality would be unwatchable.

Sorta like when you were 9 and tried to watch that T&A movie on the scrambled CABLE channel.

well first off some of the audio tracks on a dvd is allmost 700 megs

Best thing to do is change the format into divx or vcd. If you did manage to accomplish what yer talkin about....as FulciLives mentioned, the resulting movie would be virtually unwatchable due to the immense amount of compression necessary to get it that small.

Thanks for the quick replies, everyone! NO, I am NOT insane! I have been making (S)VCD's for a couple years now with great results. The miniDVD thing sounded interesting, so I thought I'd try it. I just got a DVD-R/RW drive for my laptop, so I'm off on my next adventure!
