When for example ripping a DVD, the video (or the audio in some cases) comes out as multple files. I understand that this is because of a file size limitaton or something in the OS, but does this mean that I have to do something tricky to join the files together before I can use them as an input for editing etc.?
Specifically, I have ripped the PCM soundtrack from a concert DVD and I wish to do some editing of it in GoldWave. The soundtrack has come off the DVD in two files - but it's all one continous audio stream.
Is there a tag at the end of the first file which says something like "now go to 'file 2'" for example? If not then how do I instruct GoldWave to look for the second part of the audio track?

DVDdecrypter has a mode where the video and audio will be
ripped all in one file.
Vobedit will rip audio or video from a set of VOBs into contiguous files
DVD2AVI will rip the audio to a single file -

What I get out is a VOB file. I was expecting a WAV file. What have I done wrong?
