    here the situation
    im getting divx dvd plyaer for xmas and i have loads of OGMs

    i need to know a quick way to rip avi and audio.

    i use vdubmod and dirctstream video and uncompessed audio.
    then save them , but what audio format compression is the best and compatible ? also what audio format is fastest to compress.
