  1. I have encoded some HDTV/PDTV caps to MPEG using CCE. The produced MPEG video files play perfectly in powerdvd.

However, when I run them through DVD-Lab and compile the disc I get stutter (more like a brief pause/hang) in a lot of action scenes.

I have no idea why, I've gone from the latest beta build to the normal 1.3.1 version and the problem remains.

I guarantee this problem does not exist on the MPEG files when played before compiling with DVD-Lab.

Any ideas at all? is there another program I can use to compile that will accept DVD-lab menu's?

    thanks

  2. I just compiled in TMPEGEnc DVD Author and it worked perfectly. So DVD-Lab is at fault here.

I really need it to work as I made a very nice menu in lab and TMPEG offers no where near the flexibility for me to re-create the menu for it.

Any idea's at all on why it's doing it or how to fix it?

    Thanks again

  3. Problem solved, if anyone else has this problem here's what to do...

Firstly this takes a long time to do.

I had to put 3 movies on the disc, so i had to run each movie through TMPEG dvd auther seperately to create VOB files, then once you have done that for what you need just load the vob files into DVD-Lab and select join vib files (once done 1 vob file will be your entire movie)

so yea now it works fine...
