i got this avi file ,i only get the sound no picture ,i got all the codecs (mpg 2 codec and everything from this site ,somebody ,it driving me nuts ,thx

i even tried g-spot and it saids that everything is good ,no more need for a codec ,help ,thx

I know the feeling.. if you got all codecs that is ok.. you could easy see what is wrong with file.. when using virtual dub.. i am usually do so.. cause ..sometimes just donot know what's going on ...

usually if there is an error.. virtual dub will tell you... or.. then you can correct it .. most of the time is codecs still missing.. there are so many in use now...if you can watch in virtual dub.. just compress again with another codecs.. and u will have viewable file..

there are also many softwares to help to restore avi files .. .but try dub first..
