I'm going out on a limb here with a really stupid observation, but I gotta know if I am right about this.

Is it just me, or is Ritek DVD media the worst smelling media ever? I switched to Ritek after using some questionable Memorex Fakes, and the first thing I noticed was that the Riteks smelled awful. It's as if the dye is actually liquified ferret turds with purple food coloring.........

there was an old thread about this, Riteks do tend to smell like syrup, I find it plesant if odd at first. Also of note they taste great.
