Okay so it seems like the Iomega drive is good, but the software it ships with is junk. What is the best software that will work with this drive and that is a good editing software?

Share your question. Still testing different software. It seems that few software formally support this drive (according to the information on their websites).
I will try SONIC products first since the bundled software (myDVD) is from SONIC.

Tried the RecordNow software from SONIC (trial version) during the weekend. It can recognise the drive, but failed to write to the DVD+RW. It seems that the 'Super Drive' is not compatible with both the Verbatim and Sony DVD+RW (the disks are fine and can be read/write by an Sony DVD Writer).
I will try some other media (e.g. DVD-R) with the RecordNow software, but afraid that I may create more coasters!
