I live in Australia and bought some DVD's from America. I can watch them fine on my PC but not on set top DVD player. I want to make some back-ups and am wondering if there is any way of converting these regio n1 DVD's to region4 during the rip process??

your ripped files will be region-free using DVD Decypter.
