hello
i have a good system with Creative Audigy Platinum Sound card.
i hooked my digital receiver with gold platted cables to the front panel of the audigy card to the aux input (Left and right).
im using adobe Audition (Previously known as CoolEdit Pro) and when i try to record (with 44100 sample rate, stereo, and 16 bit), i only get the right audio recorded, nothing is recorded with the left audio.
when i playback the recorded wav, i can only hear from the right speaker, left speaker has no audio.
anyone can help me and tell me what im doing wrong?
thanks alot.

Well, I can give you some things to try...
One of a few things holds true.
Either:
1) There is nothing coming out of the left channel of the receiver
2) There is nothing coming in the left channel of the audigy
#2 can come in to play if you have a bad cable, or if your 1/8th" stereo jack is not plugged in to the audigy all the way.
You can rule out #1 by swapping the cables. If you still have 1 channel (right only) audio, then your receiver is fine.
