  1. I'm having a bit of trouble finding a guide on how to do this.
I have a .mov movie file. I converted it to .avi and it is 1.59 GB in size and about 2Hr and 30Min long.
I want to burn it to a VCD or better a SVCD but don't know how.

Do I use Tempenc then split the mpeg to fit two disks?

    Thanks,

Easiest way: Install Quicktime 6, then install TMPGENC with the .MOV filter (Quicktime is at www.apple.com. the other stuff at the above link). Drag a Quicktime file into TPMGENC, and encode to whatever. No need to convert to AVI.

ps. I made a DVD for myself of the Clone Wars Animated series this way. I get the larger size Quicktime version of the eps from starwars.com, then encoded to the low resolution MPEG-2, then combined them into one large file in the merge/cut section of the mpeg tools in TMPGENC). Perfect.
