I wonder if anybody has seen this problem with DVDShrink. If the movie subtitle color is yellow, the shrunk copy comes out with a green subtitle(seen on computer) and is handly visible(compare to original sharp subtitle). And if you play this shrunk copy on TV, the color turns to black and almost invisible.
I tried to use CloneDVD to shrunk the same movie, the resulting copy keeps the original subtitle(color and sharpness).

  2. Hi arrowhead.

I don't know if that will help, but I have personally never had a "subtitles color" problem with DVD Shrink, nor have I ever heard of any.
Although I have experienced it when using IfoEdit.

I agree with ddlooping. DVD Shrink shouldn't have touch your subpictures color table. If by chance your table has changed, try using this guide to correct that.

I can't say I've ever had this problem with DVD Shrink. Recently, however, I used it on <INSERT TITLE OF HOLLYWOOD MOVIE HERE> and it messed up the subtitle order completely. Turning sub-titles off gave you spanish, turning on spanish gave you none, and turning on french gave you french. Bit odd, but it's only happened the once.

Here is a picture of the subtitle with problem I got with DVDShrink. It is strange that some movies I copied don't have this subtitle problem , and some have. When play this movie on TV, the subtitle changes to black color and almost invisible.

That doesn't look like a DVD Shrink problem it looks as though you created the IFO's with Ifoedit.

Did you use Ifoedit prior to DVD Shrink?

Oh yeh, that must be the reason. I used IfoEdit to generate video_ts files for this movie. I recall that the copies which don't have this problem were not edited using IfoEdit.
But why? how to avoid this if I have to use IfoEdit to create IFOs?
