I am trying to create a vcd with jpg's converted into a few mpg files. What is the preferred resolution and size for scanning the jpg's? I would greatly appreciate any help.

I usually get my pics from websites (fascape). Any res and nero streches the jpg to 720x480.

If scanning from a photo use 600dpi, anything else 300dpi, then resize in something like Paint Shop Pro to the desired VCD resolution (i think it's a choice 352x240 or 720x480)
