  1. I am using DVD Shrink to compress a backup movie and then Nero to burn it. A few of the movies I tried to back up (like The Grateful Dead Closing Winterland) have a jumpy picture. The sound is perfect but the picture jumps every few seconds. I have tried several types of media. Any ideas? THANKS!!!!

Did u use deep analysis. Sometimes that can help video quality quite a bit.

    OR:

Try using DVD Decrypter (free). Rip the DVD with it in FILE (entire disc) mode, then process/compress it with shrink.

  3. if the quality of the media you've used is good try converting the shunken files to an image with ImgTools, and use Decrypter or nero to burn that image. good luck.
