I'm using dvdshrink beta 3 and nero to burn. I copy the movie fine, deselect spanish (and french) and everything goes well. I watch the little preview in the dvdshrink window, everything still good. When I burn though, I get spanish subtitles. Well, not subtitles, but when ever words are on the screen, they are translated to English on the bottom and Spanish on top. This has happened in both the movies I've tried now. Pirates of the Carribbean only displays it in the title scene. It says Pirates of the Carribbean in the middle of the screen and the Spanish translation on top. I thought it was a fluke, so I tried Super Troopers. In the beginning scene, it says, "Vermont....someone near the border." and it's translated to Spanish on the top of the screen. Anyway to pull the spanish translation off, a different program, a different settings, anything?
Thank you guys in advance.

I too am having the same problem even when deselecting all the subpicture options in dvd shrink... except I get the French subtitles for any on screen text that appears (ex. movie titles, place descriptions, etc.). When I try and turn off the subtitles on my dvd player the subtitles are still there. I am using a Mintek dvd player for play back and Ritek G04 dvd-r's. Any solutions out there for us?

In preferences un-check the line "display streams of significant size only.
The subtitle streams are very small and some don't even show as on the disk unless you un-check this item. -
I have searched the threads about this and maybe came up with a solution?? It seems that the navigation options to turn the subtitles off from the dvd player might be found in the subtitle section of the movies we are deleting... many dvds are authored with information found in the subpicture sections that we are deleting, such as controlling the dvd player menus (up,down, left right enter,etc...)... therefore we cannot disable the subtitle using the remote. I havent tested it yet, but leaving the subtitles on the dvd might solve this problem of turning off subtitles using the dvd player. Its not that much space to conserve anyway, let me know if you get any results....
but the real question is why the subtitles are still there after deleting the subpicture options?? A glitch with dvdshrink??
