I use VCDEasy v1.1.5.2 and have for quite awhile. I quite like the ease of use and basically it has never failed me yet. My question is this. I have a Sony CDRW 52x 48X 52x which should give me the ability to write CDs at 52x. Unfortunately, VCDEasy will only write at 40x. Is this fixable or do I just have to live with it this way?

Thats got more to do with the media you are burning with and what your burner indentifies to burn it at for the best speed, try other brands of media, some will give you faster burn speeds but i like to burn at a slower rate at about 16x for better playabilty on my dvd player.Burning too fast sometimes produces more errors and dropouts for me at least.

You would save less then 30 seconds. Even if you burn a lot of cd
it's hard to open the new disc and write any note on it in that little time. Don't stress too much!
