Tried looking for previous posts on this one but could not come up with a solution. I wanted to capture analog directly into MPEG so I don't have to render an AVI with TMPGenc. I tried rendering twice and it took about 6 hours to render 2 hours of AVI video.
The PROBLEM: Unable to set Ulead Movie Factory to Capture format of MPEG or AVI. Friend installed ULead on my laptop and wanted try it out)
Wanted to capture 8mm video from a Sharp VL-A111U camcorder passed through a VCR (because the Sharp has mono output and VCR splits mono into left and right audio) then through a ADVC 100 connected to a HP laptop (2.66 GHz, 512 RAM).
The ERROR: So I tried capturing with Capture format set to either DVD or DV and the following is the error message.
" V129: Invalid video aspect ratio/display horizontal size(720) combination for DVD, display sized should be 540
Can not set MPEG prarmeters error
Capture failed.
The created file is corrupt and unusable.
It will be automatically deleted. "
May I ask if someone could give some ideas or direction.
Thanks in advance
