I am looking for a free capturing software that will do snapshots. Any ideas? I don't care if it supports capturing video or not.

Do you mean just capturing stills from video files, like MPEGs, mov and real media?
If so, just try hitting the Print Screen key on your keyboard, paste it into an image editing program, and crop the video section.
Other options (free trials anyway) -

Thanks for the response. What we were looking for was a simple program that would take a snapshot from a video camera (live) and save the file. I actually found one called teveo live 2.1. I guess the company is no longer but after some searching I found the program, and from what I learned it was freeware.
