    I am thinking of buying the Digitrex GK-1010 DVD Player in New Zealand for my parents so i can send them DVD Slideshows.

    The price is $97 NZD

    anyone had any experience with this model ? read somewhere its a rebadged Hiteker.

    is it region free and all that

    Digitrex is the rebadged version of Apex so it might pay to try and look through the DVD Players list at the Apex models and see if you can find the corresponding North American model as their are probably reviews for them.

    I have a Digitrex DVD player in my room (can't remember which model) and it seems to do an alright job and plays back everything I throw at it.
