hello thanks for trying to help me with this question i have. I have searched the forums but they all give me the same answer and it doesnt work the way i would like

I have a SVCD that i created using dvd2svcd i know how to use that so there is no problem there. The problem i get is a few of my movies, i have created from avi files that i have made my self they are too big to fit on a cd. A typical example is a file is 814 837 kb and it is too big to fit on a cd, im hopeing i dont have 2 explain that about 800mg can be burnt onto a svcd. These files are only a fraction over because i have a file that is 813 204 kb and it fits. So really all i need to know how to do is get a svcd file (in the mpeg form) and cut 1 or 2 seconds off the end. THen resave the file in the exact same settings screen size everything without reencoding the file. I have use mpeg-vcr and it works well apart from when i save it i have a few problems 1. it makes the file bigger than it was at the start and it changes the settings so nero wont recognize it as a svcd. so it wont fit on the cd.

If there is another program like nero that can burn svcd and you can over burn a little bit more could someone please let me know because that would be great. Im trying to get a copy of CDrwin and Easy cd creater so hopefully these programs will do it.

Thanks in advance for all of your help and i hope we can work this out.

ps. something along the lines of virutal dub would be great..it does exacly what i need. Just...it doesnt support MPEG files

I've had to do simillar jobs myself and in my experience Womble MPEG VCR(mpeg-2) is the best program for joining and cutting mpeg-2 streams.
