This is the second time i've posted about this, but I have a bit more information this time. When I play back some divx files, especially the ones that are split in two files and are still in theatres, there is a problem with the tint, it gradually goes to a bright pink and then suddenly cuts off to the normal colour. I thought I fixed this problem because when I play back DVD rips in divx format there was no problem. This problem also carries over to any typre of converter I try it on. But it only happens with those cam movies, I think it is very strange. Whats even stranger is this problem is gone when I use windows media player 6.4, but anything else and the tint is all screwed up. This is a problem for me because I just want to convert and burn it, but i can't if it goes bright pink every few seconds. This problem first arose when I upgraded to windows xp build 2481. Any input at all is greatly appricated.
