  2. you can't have mutiple video_ts folders. You need to use an app called Sizzle. Search the forum for it.

  3. you can easily combine and burn multiple DVD movies onto 1 DVD. One such program is TMPGenc Author and it allows you to create simple menu so you can choose which movie to watch. I used this with some of the Disney movies which are short. It is extremely usefule if you have tons of children DVD such as sing-slong, short children movies.e.g barney and all that crap.

ok what you want to do is JOIN the VIDEO_TS folders using dvd2one into one "large" video_ts folder which you can then burn onto one dvdr

keep in mind each new video_ts folder you add the quality of each diminshes

Just a note that the quality will be the same as the original VIDEO_TS folders up to 4.4gb total...

    is that so?
you take 2 dvd's and put them down to 4.4 GB each

your saying you put these 2 into one dvd and the quality is equal?!?!

not in my experience when joining two entire dvd's!

If the two movies together total 4.4gb or less, then the quality is equal. Think lots of short movies.

If each exceeds 4.4gb in its own right, then the quality will not be equal. Think two feature length films.

    galactica,

Did you say using DVD2oneX, you can take 2 VIDEO_TS folders into one? Will the .vob's rename themselves since 2 folders would have for example, 2 1_1 vob files in it. Do they get renamed?

    Thanks

right.. i was thinking two full dvd's, as in 7.9 gigs for proper dvd you would put both to 4.4 and the quality goes down. add a third and you get the idea....

yes, you will have both video_ts folders combined and rewritten into one new single video_ts folder which contains both movies.

yes the .vob's will be rewritten and renamed. One set will be a particular title, the 2nd the next title and so on.
