  1. If I burn a DVD image on a CD (just a few minutes of video, of course), would a DVD player recognize it and play it like a DVD?

    Probably not. Very few supports cDVD/miniDVD.

    I don't know- but if you just want to test wouldn't it be just as easy to burn to a DVD RW?

  4. It depends on your DVD player,very few can play miniDVD.Most can play raw MPEG-2,44.1khz.

  5. Just for kicks I used DVD2one to shrink a movie down to 700 MB and then burned it to a CD. The movie actually played in my Sony DVD player and was very viewable (somewhat better than VHS quality) LOL.
