  1. just a quick question,,

I got this mpegg file, [mpeg 1 I think]
    like 1.12gb
an when I choose to burn it to dvd [via my dvd]

the lil icon that shows how much space you have to enter files to the dvd disc [which is usually up to 4.7gb],,

anyhow its showing this 1 file which is 1.12gb is taking up all 4.7gb of the disc,

an this, not wanting to write the disc because it tells the writer that the file is too big to fit on a 4.7gb disc

Now I had this same problem way back when [on my old pc]
and it seems like I used used TMpge to re-encode the Mpeg file to VCD mpeg, instead of just plain Mpeg,
    or something like that,

anyway so I tried this again an TMpge is getting a

''can not open file ,or unsupported''

So where should I go from here? I still kinda new to all the dvd stuff,

I know MY dvd isnt all that hot, but the menus for the dvd's arent that complicated, an nero6 dosent have a dvd menu option that i can find,

also, Ive heard something like TMPGE needs a plug in or something for mpeg,
BUT, mine is still in the trial mode so I shouldnt have to upgrade foir 20 some more days!

I know I said quick question up top, but I just wanted 2 explain what my problem was! Thanks

That is why we list everything we did to solve our problem, so this doesn't happen. What else did you try, and what happened?
    Hello.
