Just wanted to hear which route you would take??? I went with a DVD Recorder, but I may be re-thinking my decision. I went with the DVD Recorder to save myself time. It turns out that I probably still monkey with my DVD Recorder captures just as much as I did with my capture card (mainly because the menus really suck). My situation is simple, ADVC100 or DVD Recorder??? My capture card recently went out, and i need a new solution. The ADVC100 sounds good due to the fact that it takes most of your system restraints out of the loop...with the exception of hard drive space. My old capture card did a good job, but the speed of my system was always an issue. (P4 1.6 - 512RDRAM)
Don't get me wrong...My Cyberhome 1500 DVD Recorder has been solid as far capture quality goes! The menus just leave a little to be desired.
Anyhow...Let me know what you all think. 8)
Thanks,
gpwake!
