I've ripped VOB anf IFO files from a DVD using DVDDecrypter. When you launch DVDDecripter it highlights a minimal set of files and I ripped these files to my hard drive. I've placed them into VIDEO_TS folder and tested with a DVD player - everything works, menue, chapters, everything!
However, I can not just copy these files to a DVD because there is no VIDEO_TS.IFO file. My files are (they work just fine with my software DVD!):
VTS_02_0.IFO
VTS_02-1.VOB
VTS_02-2.VOB
VTS_02-3.VOB
VTS_02-4.VOB
The question: how can I re-create the structure so it would be understood by ISO editors that would allow me to create an ISO image and burn it?

if you are ripping the entire disc just select all files instead of the few it highlights. and rip it to the HDD, or better yet just rip it in ISO mode and burn it in ISO mode using DVD Decryptor for all. If you need to just get parts of the disc, use DVD Shrink to either compress the parts you don't want to very small sizes to keep menus, or if you don't care about the menus use the re-author feature and just keep exactly what you want. either was will create a complete file set.

Poppa_Meth,
I don't want to rip entire disk because it will not fit into 4.7 GB. My goal is to leave only movie. I've decided to keep the menue as well because I don't know how to author VOB files to re-create the menue. It looks like de-multiplexing VOBs+authoring MPEGs is a pain in the .. .
DVDShrink does not keep VIDEO_TS.IFO is I choose the parts of the movie and I choose the parts only. So, I'm still where I was - I have the working (with a software DVD player) set like this:
VTS_02_0.IFO
VTS_02-1.VOB
VTS_02-2.VOB
VTS_02-3.VOB
VTS_02-4.VOB
which I want to burn so my stupid hardware DVD player will understand it. -
to keep the menu you'd have to run it through something like DVD Shrink and just compress everything but the main movie to still pictures. it won't get rid of it completely but it will make the file size very small for the unwanted parts. you could also run it through something like TMPGEnc DVD Author to make your own menus. there are other programs to use that can get rid of the other parts entirely and keep the menu but I believe most of those are not free.

Poppa_Meth, thanks!
I've come up to the same idea to keep everything and compress unwanted stuff to still pictures. However, when I've done this I did not have sound. I'm just wondering is it because I unchecked all audio streams but English (6 ch)?
