  1. I just recieved a Dazzle DVC II and have enjoyed it so far. My question is to all the DVC II owners out there: What settings do you use when capturing from dvd (bitrate, mpeg 1/2, etc) and how many cd's the movies will fit on (depending on the movie length of course).

    Thanks ahead of time!

  2. I nerver/ever use DVC II caputer from DVD player.
Use rip process. With DVC II the bitrate that gives good quality for SVCD for capture from DirecTV is 2400-2500, which gives you 30-36 minute/disc. Using rip process, you can set 1950-2200 with good quality and can be 40-55 minutes/disc.

  3. Hey Chjan, what it the rip process you use? I have ripped and encoded with TMPGenc before, but dont want to have to deal with all the wait (thats the reason I got the dvc II)

    Thanks
