Hello everyone, Im trying to conver my divx file to svcd. The problems I'm running into is this. The audio is ac3 and my source file is already split in half. Now I took virtual dub and combined my divx to 1 file. Next I extracted the audio with virtual dub and saved it as .ac3. Next I opened up headac3he to convert the .ac3 file to wav, but it gave me an error while doing it. When I play the file it plays fine no out of sync or anything. What can I use to fix my audio .ac3 file so I can use headac3he to convert it to wav, so I can use tmpege to convert to svcd? Any help would be appreciated because I'm going nuts trying to figure it out.

Oh and btw I went ahead and tried this before I joined the video files and did all the steps above I mentioned and it was fine. But I wanted it one big file so I could split it up to 3 for 3 cds. So it had to be a problem when I joined the 2 video files with virtual dub. Thanks

  3. I've done a few of these lately and get an error as well. I solved it by running the AC3 file through AC3fix first. Here's the tools page where you can get it. Get the GUI as well, since it's a lot easier to deal with. When doing the fix, you use the last tab (section) on the GUI.

thx man for the help about the program. Except I can't get it to work. I have both ac3fix and ac3fixgui in the same folder, I load the sound file, then I choose a place to save it. I then hit process and it says sending to ac3fix.exe but nothing never happens or shows me anything. Is it supposed to have a meter to show u how much longer or anything to let you know its working?
